Robert DeNiro plays the rediculously inept Rupert Rumpkin, an aspiring comic who idolizes talk show host Jerry Langford (Jerry Lewis). He eventually hatches a plan with an equally obeseed fan, Masha (Sandra Berhard), to kidnap Langford in exchange for a"chance to let him deliver his routine on the air. Possibly director Martin Scorese's most unsung finest hour. The DVD features a "Making of" featurette, deleted sceens, and more.
