Inspired by the tragedies of Euripedes, Yu uses a marionette Greek chorus to examine the lives of four men (a former televangelist who suppressed his homosexuality, a bank robber turned journalist, a former terrorist, and an obsessed martial-arts student) who eventually broke free of dark paths set off by violent and repressive childhoods.
