Shalimar Initial L'Eau was launched in 2011 by Guerlian, a soft enveloping, delicate scent of fairies. It takes as a point of departure a spring bouquet, comprised of bright, green-smelling blossoms of lily of the valley, freesia and hyacinth, to accompany the familiar warmth of the modernized Shalimar Initial. One can easily recognize Shalimars signature bottle, which lets the pink juice show through. The fragrance opens with notes of bergamot, neroli and grapefruit. The floral heart is composed of Damask rose, iris and grand flora jasmine (from Grasse, India and Egypt). The combination of vanilla and tonka bean in the trail grants the fragrance a slightly gourmand facet.
