Do you need a VHF at one, two or three stations? The MATRIX GX3000S is capable of using 2 Enhanced RAM+ microphones and/or VH-310 telephone-style handsets, allowing control of all VHF, DSC and hailer functions remotely. Capable of Class D DSC radio (dedicated channel 70 receiver continuously watches for DSC calls), powerful 30W loud hailer including listen back, fog signaling, bells and whistles, intercom along with an oversized channel selector knob and display. Another unique feature is the ability of the MATRIX to "poll" (request and send) the GPS location of another vessel and show that vessel's position on the radio's alphanumeric display. Connect a STANDARD HORIZON chart plotter to the MATRIX and the position of the polled vessel can be posted on the chart plotters display. This is a great feature for maintaining contact with fishing or cruising "buddy" boats. Additional Details
