Approaching the new season at West Point, Army football had one goal in mind - win. After 27 consecutive victories in the last few seasons, Army gained the reputation as winners and honorable leaders. With Coaches Blaik (Glenn) and Lombardi (Zeppierri) constantly drilling the team, pushing them to their limits and leaving little room for school and cadetship, the squad must remember their vow: A cadet will not lie, cheat or steal. George Holbrook (Roop), a young running back with great potential at Army, struggles with the relentless stress and finds himself caught in a situation where he has to choose between loyalty and honor, a double-edged sword that jeopardizes everything the Army stands for.
