Before he jump jive and wailed to the top of the pop charts, Brian Setzer spent a few years on the road building a major word-of-mouth buzz with his monstrous 17-piece big band. Long before radio, video or press had noticed what was going on, a Brian Setzer Orchestra concert performance was captured live on videotape for the first time at the Montreal Jazz Festival on June 30, 1995. The show represented a turning point in the band's evolution from '40's-style big band swing to the powerfall rock and roll, and is still going strong 12 years later.
