When a group of psychics investigate puppeteer Andre Toulon's secret of life, they discover that he has brought five evil puppets to life and they each have a different method and style of murder; Toulon's evil puppets exhume their creator and attempt to steal brain tissue from live victims so Toulon can keep the puppets alive; during World War II, Andre Toulon's work in reviving the dead is noticed by the Nazis, and after they kill his wife Toulon uses his puppets for revenge; a scientist discovers the living puppets and uses them to fight the gremlins that are destroying his work; with the help of Toulon's spirit, Rick fights an ancient demon and becomes the new puppet master; a scientist tries to uncover the secrets behind transferring human souls into puppets; after an ancient Egyptian sorcerer steals the secret for putting dying souls into inanimate objects, three mummified priests travel to Paris and find Andre Toulon; when a girl tries to destroy Toulon's puppets, she is instead lured into listening to a story of their history; after a young man finds Mr. Toulon's box of puppets in a hotel during World War II, he uses the deadly puppets to stop a secret attack on an American manufacturing plant.
