Many years after a vampire is buried with a stake in his heart, a World War II shell awakens him and he seeks revenge against the people who put him in his grave; Baron Frankenstein is saved from the guillotine by his devoted dwarf Fritz, and when they move to Carlsbruck he becomes known as the celebrated Dr. Stein and begins his gruesome experimentation once again; a baron whose face has frozen in a horrifying position enlists the aid of a doctor, who is also the baron's wife's former lover; a stranded family joins forces with a local sheriff and a doctor when a cult is revealed to be kidnapping children to recruit them for satanic worship.
